A message from Studio Director & Choreographer, Kay Louise...

I am overjoyed whenever I have the opportunity to share this passion with others. I find the process of dance and choreography to be an exciting and engaging form of creativity; From my first vision, to the dancers that bring it full circle...

As the founder, choreographer and artistic director of THE PLACE FOR DANCE as well as
MESMERIC Contemporary American Belly Dance Company, I am pleased to offer a personal enrichment series which includes beginning and continuing belly dance instruction for women of all ages. Daytime and evening classes are offered in my Sylvania, OH studio and are often offered at other events and locations."Everybelly's welcome!" (c)

I believe dance, performance and the addition of strong female connections helps to build confidence and self-esteem. I believe all forms of creativity can allow us to look within ourselves and at the same time be an engaging tool for individual expression. I believe women need to nurture their own creativity, personal interests and individuality... These are the goals of my program ... Dance is merely the vehicle that helps to get us there!

Our dreams
are like a dance...
Each begins with the first step.
Continuous thanks go out to my Mother who opened the dance world to me and who always reminds me that I am "good enough!"

And thanks too go out to Aegela, one of my first belly dance teachers,  for allowing me the opportunity to work along side her as she began her belly dance classes in Adrian and Toledo and for shoving me out of the nest, which enabled me to pursue 'my own thing.'
